In the winter 2008/2009 Okanagan Kootenay Well Drilling went up the ice road to drill pilings for a school in Inuvik. We drilled 14" piking holes for this winter long project. It was dark 24 hrs. a day and we worked when it was up to -50 °C. We were able to learn some history of the area and of the Inuvialuit people. It is an experience we will never forget.

OKWD did a summer project in Saskatchewan installing ground water monitoring wells as well as vibrating piezometer's. The DR was the perfect choice for this job because of the adverse drilling conditions. The DR was able to advance casing to the depth's required for proper placement of piezometers ensuring the project was completed, satisfying our customers requirements.
